Periodic closures of the Seaway Bike Path, between the existing Champlain Bridge and the Saint-Lambert Lock
As part of the construction of the new Champlain Bridge, Signature on the Saint Lawrence Consortium, wishes to advise users of the Seaway bike path, that it will be closed for various durations and frequencies, until the end of the project, between the existing Champlain Bridge and Saint-Lambert Lock.
Large lifting operations take place on the Cable-Stay Bridge jetty and require a closure of that section to ensure the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and workers.
Seaway bike path users are more than welcomed to consult the poster signs in the field to stay informed. In addition, information is posted on our Twitter account, in a timely manner, while our partners, notably Vélo Québec, are notified by email.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your cooperation.
